The article explains that university classrooms can be transformative spaces for cultivating a responsible innovation mindset among future tech leaders. It emphasizes moving beyond mere technical know-how to asking critical ethical questions such as “Should we…?” and “What if…?”. By integrating debates, reflective assignments, and cross-disciplinary collaboration, educators empower students to consider the societal impacts of technology—ranging from privacy and sustainability to social equity. This approach not only exposes the messy real-world consequences of technological advancements but also builds a framework for driving positive change and ethical innovation in our rapidly evolving digital landscape.
